I chose Evangeline Oaks because of Amanda Stanley. Amanda is an amazing person and I heard great things about her care of the patients. Mr. Jerry was in really bad condition when he first started his journey with Evangeline Oaks, but I knew he would be well taken care of. He loves Amanda and he's come a long way. Thank you Amanda for taking the time to really care about the people entrusted to your care.

Evangeline Oaks has a wonderful therapy team, dedicated staff, a new administrator. With new management, facility updates, and a new Rehab to Home wing, things are looking extremely positive for the residents and the community.

I would give it a zero if I could. My brother went there for rehabilitation after a stroke and now 5 yrs later the hospital is saying he is at the end of his life. He has been to the hospital SO many times with infection after infection. He has SO many other health conditions that he didn't have when he went there. His disability check was turned over to them and now since he hasn't been there for a few months they said they never received ANY money. So YES I wouldn't recommend this place to your enemy
