I would urge caution to anyone considering becoming a resident at Encore of Schaumburg. While a number of visible changes are attractive, after they took over this location, their attentiveness to resident needs has fallen drastically. Recently for example, they forced a number of residents to move from their long term apartments. A number of things were promised in the run-up to that move, but it seems like after they got people out, they aren't worrying about it any longer. People have been waiting for weeks to get basic issues addressed. I myself am trying to get anyone on the phone to help me understand what's happening, but it doesn't appear any of the office phones are staffed, and everything leads to Billing voicemail.

Very impressed with the interior design throughout the whole building. Very clean. The employees are very friendly, helpful and smiling. The residence are also friendly. Had a wonderful lunch today in the Mosaic room. Keep up the good work!

My father was sent here after he fell and broke his hip. The staff was terrible from the beginning. He received poor treatment. When his health took a turn overnight, they LIED and said they called my mother to let her know that he was being transported to the hospital. No one ever notified my mother or family, so my mother went to visit her husband and found out that he had been transferred with NO NOTICE! HOW TERRIBLE!

Horrible place that is bound to receive multiple lawsuits.

Terrible rehab facility. Probably has tons of lawsuits against them for poor patient treatment. Good luck trying to reach a nurse when you call!
