Why cant these people ever answer the phone? Not just for me, but for my fiances doctors when they call? Why does their chilli look like they dumped out a can of paste? ...the spoon literally stood strait up in the bowl. .. his cigarettes were "lost", 3 times, since hes been there. Are these nurses trained, college trained?? Because none of them are professional. If a resident goes out to smoke (not with the rest of the dramatic workers, when they go to the shelter house), they have to ride their electric (or non electric) wheelchairs, down by the road, where people fly down that road, almost hitting residents, with no reflectors down there, no lights! Ive never been so upset with a nursing home in my life. Its so bad, that whenever I need to talk to someone, I am in contact with an Ombudsman, and she definitely gets the job done. You guys need to check your nurses again, or do some surprise visits, and figure out what's going on in that nursing home. In the meantime, i will be trying to find him a new place to go.

My step dad was in here for a broken hip for 8 weeks, now coming from osu the first day was rough not Embassy's fault. We could not of asked for better care and pt. So glad we have this group of people local. All the nurses and aids did a great job of caring for him. Discharge was easy all meds ordered and ready for us.

This place is a disgrace. My dad's been there for 2½ months (beginning of September) And has been trying to get moved since Day 3. The discharge nurse, Andria, Told me on September 12th she would start his medicaid application so we could get him into assisted living. I have gotten nothing but the run around and excuses from this lady. Today, October 25th, She tells me the application Finally got submitted. But guess what, here's the catch, she filed it in a completely different county than what his address is listed as, So we will face yet another delay. My Dad has to have dialysis three times A week and they check his protein and his weight every time; His protein levels have dropped so low.Since he's been there they are giving him supplements at the dialysis center, And he's lost eleven pounds in two and a half months. He had to ask to get his sheets and towels washed because after a week Because obviously they don't do that unless you ask them to so hopefully your family members can speak up. I get calls daily from him complaining about that place. It's just ridiculous there, please check on your family there!!
