My Mom has been a resident in skilled nursing for a year. Mom is well taken care of, and she seems happy in her new home. The entire staff is amazing and always available for questions. While no nursing home is ever perfect I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth Scott to anyone looking for skilled nursing care for their loved one

My grandpa was admitted for rehab on Thursday night Friday they evaluated him see what he can and can't do . Friday Toledo hospital said the catheter could come out they Scott rehab wanted to keep it in almost a whole extra week. Not acceptable. When admitted nurse said they have physical therapy week and weekend we were excited to hear that. Friday they said no therapy there Christmas party must be more important than patient health. We were told also no weekend therapy at all so he was supposed to sit in there from Friday till Monday no therapy we were not even allowed to get him up and walk the hallway to give them therapy as he was able to walk with assistance. Gave us a hard time about releasing him into our own care even though we are fully handicapped accessible. We finally were able to have him released without the catheter after arguing with them He's getting more therapy at home walking around his own house than anything they were doing in there

Very bad care, was fine and told just needed some more rehab then after they all said going home a week later something happened they didnt know the cause and covered it up never sent to hospital 3 wks later gone. The feeling we have is ran out of money and then the care was not happening we know a bedsore was present but no one will say if it was cared for. Dont let it happen to someone you care about they (the home) also involved a trustee and if she dont like you she ignores your concerns and ignored the patient was supposed to be in her care.

My 92 year old mother went to Elizabeth Scott for rehab following surgery related to a fall, then returned back to Elizabeth Scott after a second fall. My husband and I were very happy with her care. ALL of the staff: nurses, nursing assistants, dietary, social worker, the person in the business office, all were caring, professional and supportive. Everyone went above and beyond to be there for her and for us.
