My mother was a resident in the Memory Care unit at St. Benedicts community in Monticello for 5 years. Our experience has been extremely positive. Mom was well taken care of and always treated with the utmost respect. The staff is awesome. They always kept us informed and were quick to respond with any questions or concerns our family had. When we left after a visit we always felt secure that mom was in good hands. After 5 years many of the staff felt like family. Our family highly recommends the St. Benedicts Community for an elderly loved one who is transitioning to a new living situation.

My dad will be at St. Ben's Monticello 2 years in March. It was a big transition for him to move from home ownership, to losing his wife, our mother, of 71 years. He is still trying to acclimate his life to living at St Ben's. He is so thankful to the people who come and check on him to be sure he's coming down for dinner or coming to bingo or any of the other many activities that take place. He said he really enjoys their meals and they have made an effort to change their menu to some nice additions. He always says everyone there is so nice! He also has developed some close friendships with other residents which is so important for them as they seem to nurture each other.

My Mother enjoyed being a smaller facility. All staff were friendly and helpful. She received good care and the communication by staff to me was very good. The cost of care was comparable to other facilities and the facility was always clean. Activities for residents were available and regularly participated in. Her care during her final days was exceptional.

My mother was in memory care at St Ben’s in Monticello. We moved my mom from one awful facility to St Ben’s. My mom deserved the best care, she was kind loving mom my whole life, she loved people and cared for many. St Ben’s delivered. The few issues had were resolved swiftly. Ali, the director of nursing is kind and caring. The residents are on the top of her list. I want to thank all the staff at St Ben’s a huge thank you. No place on earth is perfect. But at St Ben’s they listen and made me feel heard and cared about. Keep up the good work St Ben’s.
