I spent 2 weeks for rehab from knee surgery. Everyone was very nice, courteous and attentive to our needs. The physical and occupational therapy was excellent. The food was great, never had anything that I could not eat. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly, always willing to help. The nurses and support staff were always kind and eager to assist our needs. The building could use more electrical outlets in each room and automatic front doors would be a plus. Overall I would definitely go there again.

My mother was in this facility for 18 days. For the most part the staff was decent. 50% of the CNA's need to find a new profession. They were rude and nasty to my mother and her roommate. If it wasn't for my mother telling me not to say anything, I would have had words with each and every one of them myself. If you can't be kind and civil to what is mostly elderly clientele, go find a new job!!!! I would never allow my mother to be placed in that facility again. Those CNA's were just lucky that I was not there to witness such despicable behavior. What if someone treated their mother or family member like that? I am sure that they wouldn't tolerate such behavior! The next issue is had is that no one assisted getting my mother to the car. With a driveway that is an incline, and two elderly parents, it was a very unsafe position they put us in. I believe its customary for a staff member to assist with the discharge of a patient and to make sure they get to the vehicle safely. Ive never seen a hospital or rehab center just let us fend for ourselves. I even had to take their wheelchair back into their building. I almost let the damn thing roll down the hill into the river.

My mother was at this facility for a few months. She received some of the worst care possible! I will never let her back to this place. Some of the staff members were rude, always had an attitude. They would take 45 minutes to answer call lights, and to top it off they also gave her a broken call light remote so they wouldn't know she needed assistance at times. The admin never returned my call to discuss my mothers discharge. My mother also had a fall and they never contacted me. Needless to say, my mother left there worse than what she was when she went in. I do not recommend sending your family members to this place.

OSF hospital sent a referral for my 91 yr old mom for rehab. She was denied they would not give the hospital a good reason. So the place must discriminate against older people. So they must not be able to give the proper care they are bragging about.
