Dad has been a resident at Lincolnshire Place for the last few months. The staff go out of their way to care for all the residents, treating each resident as if they were their own family. Everyone is cared for with dignity and respect. Amanda, the administrator, is very approachable. Time and again Amanda has gone above and beyond to help navigate through moving dad in and helping us with the transition. She does everything she can for the residents and family to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Amanda is an excellent administrator who works tirelessly to make sure that everyone feels like they are family. The nurses at Lincolnshire are some of the best that I’ve ever encountered. Not only are they knowledgeable in regards to dementia patients, they are very skilled nurses. They all work as a team to ensure that each resident’s individual needs are met. I have observed each nurse interacting with the different residents in a very caring manner. The activities staff are fantastic. They create such a fun environment for the residents to participate in. The activities staff engage with the patients throughout the day in various ways. From volleyball to shuffleboard, and other physical activities. And they also regularly play bingo and trivia games. Outside entertainment is also brought in regularly and the residents enjoy that tremendously. The activities staff also engage with the residents one on one sometimes, such as an individual card or matching game, or putting together a puzzle. Lincolnshire Place has become the home that dad needed. I am so grateful to all the staff that go out of their way to make Lincolnshire Place that special home.
