I stayed at Diversicare for 8 weeks from late April 2022 to early June 2022. The food was better thsn expected as was the care from nursing assistants, physical and occupational therapists. The only problem we had was my family had difficulty getting answers from mgmnt. My daughter would call, get put on hold, repeatedly. She'd leave messages for someone to call her, but she never heard back. As a patient, I could look over the issues because the staff that dealt with me was so friendly, helpful, efficient, and cheerful. I enjoyed my stay and improved my mobility. They kept a close eye on keeping me clean since I was unable to go to the bathroom. I was treated with respect. In a recent review, I read there had been a change in management which was our only problem area. I may need rehab again soon. If so, I hope there's an empty bed waiting for me. The idea of going to a strange place worries me. I hope I can return to Diversicare if needed. This review is long overdue. I should have written this in 2022. Thank you.
