My mom has been on the rehab floor for a month now & we could not be more pleased. The care she has received has been wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly & more than helpful. "Mama J" (the head nurse on the 4th floor) is - in my mom's words - a MIRACLE WORKER!!!!! The joy she brings is indescribable! We love her, as do all of her patients! My mom is making tremendous strides in her recovery, and that is due to her incredible physical & occupational therapists. Wow! The nurse aides & all the other helpers who come into my mom's room daily are alllllll to be commended for their AMAZING work!!!!! Thank you, Discovery Village!!!

Want to share my recent move-in experience at Discovery Village Southlake. We moved mom to DV last week and so far the entire transition has been wonderful. The DV team has been incredibly caring and attentive to mom and to the family. Everyone from the sales staff, the nursing staff, the dining staff, the maintenance staff and the activity staff have been helpful, supportive and patient. Everyone is easy to reach and incredibly responsive. Hollie even helped me build some furniture for mom’s apartment and helped me manage cable set up with Frontier. And on top of it all, the community of residents on my mom’s floor are so kind and welcoming!

I’ve been in Discovery SNF since April 20th. I was not sure if I was able to feel comfortable and uncertain in this kind of facility in the beginning here. As days go by, I met many staff members, doctors nurses and aids from different departments. Transitioning from rehabilitation hospital to Discovery Village was quite an emotional challenge for me, but from the beginning, I was so welcomed by everyone here. I’ve been enjoying PT, OT, clean environment and all the staffs prompt responses as I need things. I will tell all my friends and family about Discovery Village. This is a wonderful place that is surrounded with a natural beauty and wonderful compassion and service. I will be back again in the future if I need same kind of personal needs. Everyone has been wonderful here, I would like to especially thank to Laurel, Tamara, Barbra, Amy, both doctors and Mr. Okay! I would like to also praise the team of Theraphy. Maria and Judy( great professionals) and others work very hard to help with a such great amount of patience for each patient’s needs. Of course each staff here is so kind and delightful! Also food is very good here. Wonderful experience! Thank you so much and God bless you for all you do.

I’m so grateful for the care my mom receives at Discovery Village. Don Miller, the executive director, has been incredibly compassionate and supportive throughout our time here. Lulu, the memory care director, and the entire care team are amazing. They love my mom so well and consistently provide thoughtful, attentive care that gives our family so much peace. It means everything to know she’s in such kind and capable hands. Thank you, Don, Lulu, and the whole team at Discovery Village.

I have lived in Independent Living in Discovery Village 2 for over eight years and have been very happy here! The residents on the first floor are more like a family than “just neighbors.” One of the reasons I chose this option is because of the availability of assisted living on the second floor, more specialized care on the third floor and skilled nursing/rehabilitation on the fourth floor in case I should need any of those services in the future. The staff is very caring, attentive and personable as well. I’ve never been sorry I chose to live here!
