My Craig has been on Dogwood Unit since February 2, 2023. Craig has early onset dementia. From day one I found the most caring and wonderful staff. I decided I needed to be with him every day until he became accustomed to not being home. I also needed to make sure that he was being properly taken care of. Not only did they encourage me, they treated me and Craig and ALL THE CLIENTS with the utmost care and respect. Yes, it could be (much) cleaner. The administration is aware and are taking steps to remedy this. Dogwood Unit is a beautiful, 26 bed, locked unit for dementia patients who are a high risk for flight. That’s my Craig. They have been the most caring and wonderful people to deal with in the last 2 1/2 years and I can honestly say that they have made giving the care of the love of my life over to other people an utter and total relief. Craig is now actively dying. I have slept at the nursing home to be by his side in his last moments. In his final days, every staff member has made it their mission see to his complete comfort. The nursing home itself has offered to me every single option to make staying here with him as comfortable for me as possible. I hope to volunteer here if they will allow me to. What they have given Craig and myself could never be repaid, and if you need a place with truly caring and wonderful people, then look no further. It’s easy to write a negative review about something. It’s much more difficult to relay your feelings and to make sure that every person in this facility gets acknowledgement for the kindness, caring, and truly genuine care they give.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. My Mom is currently there & ive had some eye-opening experiences with people there. I just called the administrator but from the reviews, I'm not holding out hope. My Mom owes a balance so they have taken her checkbook away from her & won't give it back. In fact, Jen 🙄 said that since my mother has a balance, she is not allowed access to her finances. Number one, that is illegal. Even got verification from the State Police. Three weeks ago or so I told Jen to give Mom one of her checks & she would write a check. I was told no, that my mother is incompetent. I told her unless she has a JD behind her name, she cannot legally make that determination. Well guess what Jen, that's fraud. You are committing fraud & very possibly elder abuse. I am in the process of retaining an attorney. I wonder how many other people, especially those without family, are getting defrauded like my Mom is? Delhi rehab is a garbage place. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Oh also, my Mom's neighbor hates the place because she said there's a lot of theft there. She never told me it's the staff that's doing the thieving.

I am a patient in Delhi Rehab. You will see Melody Curtis commenting...she is a daughter. I havent seen her since they brought me here 2 yrs ago Christmas. SHE SPEAKS WITH FORKED TONGUE. i am loved, fed, and warm here. Im not on chestnut as she wrote...putting my hippa info on a national site is unacceptable. She will be legally removed. I have had good care at Delhi rehab.

They have been very responsive over the past several years. While I understand some of the reviewers frustrations, these are tough jobs working at these places and it is impossible to meet every individual family's expectations. I appreciate their honesty and the care they have given my mother during this difficult time. I would highly recommend this nursing home for cleanliness, friendly staff and a commitment to patients.

They let their residents answer their phones. They never return phone calls to the resident power of attorney and healthcare proxy which also happens to be the daughter of. They know my mother DID NOT PAS COGNITIVE TEST and was diagnosed with dementia yet allows her to make her own decisions. My mother had a stroke and is wheelchair dependent now and can’t use her left side. They are the worst I’ve seen which is sad when Delhi is my birthplace.
