Visited my aunt. Staff were friendly and compassionate. Appeared to have lots of activities going on during the day. Building clean and even smelled pleasant.

This used to be one of the best places to go to, but now it's gone downhill. My mother often has to wait hours before someone helps her and when I try to find someone to help, I get told "someone will be there soon", and wait several more hours. They no longer take her to appointments with no explanation why. I get nursing homes are short staffed, but this has been going on for months. If her health wasn't so bad, I would move her to another place.

Wonderful facility -- the staff are very compassionate and caring to the residents and take fabulous care of them. The facility is clean and they have many activities for the residents. They are taking great care of my mother and I am so grateful for this facility.

My aunt with dementia has lived at this nursing home for over a year. We had to move her in a rush after having a very troubling situation at another Oneonta facility. My entire family is so appreciative of the wonderful care my aunt consistently receives at Fox Nursing Home. The staff is friendly, professional, trustworthy, and gives the highest standard of care. We are so happy and blessed to have found the right place for my aunt. It is wonderful to see the best kind of people working with such a vulnerable population. This place is a gem in our area!!<br><br>Update- My aunt passed away last week due to a long battle with COPD. In the time she lived at A.O. Fox Nursing Home, she was treated wonderfully and cared for with professionalism and the highest quality. The staff is wonderful and being a non profit facility, we could tell that the management's concern is for patients and not the almighty dollar. Having the hospital connected to the home was key in ensuring my aunt got quick emergency care when needed. We are very grateful to the staff at this wonderful nursing home for keeping my aunt safe, well cared for, and well nourished. The activity program is wonderful and the extra touches make all the difference for the residents. Thank you so much for making my aunt's last few years as happy and comfortable as possible.

Wonderful place to rehabilitate and help your loved one get better. I can’t say enough good things about A.O. fox. First when you walk in it smells clean and pleasant. 98% of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nurses were well trained and super friendly and supportive. There was real rehabilitation that grew with my aunt as she got better. They even have a big staircase with rails on either side in the gym area to practice using before you go home. The food was wonderful! Supplies of a high quality and fully stocked and readily accessible to my aunt. Residents are not locked inside. They are allowed to go (if it is safe for them) outside and sit on a beautiful patio without a fence. Very nice atmosphere, almost like a retirement community but with lots of support. I highly recommend A.O. fox for rest and rehabilitation after an injury.
