My brother and I toured Delaney Park Health & Rehabilitation Center yesterday for possible admission for my 88 year old mother who recently felt and has a head concussion, she is very weak and still confused. During the tour, Yahaira informed us that there were four beds available and encouraged us to move forward with the admission process. Based on that information, we immediately contacted the Orlando hospital case manager and asked her to submit all required paperwork. This morning, the Orlando Health case manager informed us that Delaney stated there were no beds available. Confused, I immediately called Yahaira, and she told me she was not aware of that information and confirmed again that beds were available. When the hospital case manager contacted her directly, Yahaira then reportedly claimed she never spoke with me and did not remember me. We later did a three-way call together, and her attitude was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. She acted as though she did not remember our conversation from the previous day, and from minutes ago despite giving us a full facility tour. She also contradicted herself by saying that all four beds had suddenly been filled between yesterday and today on a “first come, first serve” basis, even though she had told me only minutes earlier that beds were still available. This experience was extremely frustrating during an already stressful time while trying to secure rehabilitation care for my mother. Clear communication, honesty, and compassion are critical in healthcare settings, and unfortunately, this experience lacked all three. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED for the lack of compassion, empathy and professionalism.

Having been to a few rehab facilities for my spouse, this is the perfect one for him to be cared for and build his strength. Jennifer Baker assessed him and helped get him admitted, Yahaira Rodriguez was welcoming and helpful in the paperwork, Matt Mines, administrator, helped me get my husband settled and unpacked my car of his many effects,Dawn Mosely did everything needed to document his condition and process him into the facility, Jackie (social services) was helpful and reassuring of next step care, Lana (finance) has helped me navigate the labyrinth of Medicare, and longer term care as needed, Katie (speech therapy) is working to advance my husband's food options, the various physical therapists are hard working, kind and patient and the CNA, Lorna, is a total gem. My husband adores her for her kindness, caring heart, joy and understanding. The facility is bright, clean, and pleasant with light colors, artwork, many windows, and no odor. Bonus: I can walk there in five minutes from my home. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and kind. I could not be more pleased!

I had a wonderful experience at Delaney Park Rehabilitation and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of quality care and recovery services. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Every hallway, room, and common area was spotless and well-maintained, creating a fresh and calming environment. The staff truly made a difference. Everyone I encountered from the front desk to the nursing team and therapists was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly welcoming and compassionate. You can tell they genuinely care about the well-being of each patient. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, offering plenty of natural light and comfort, which made the stay feel less clinical and more like home. I was also very impressed by how well-organized and modern the therapy areas were. The layout allowed for smooth, efficient sessions, and the therapists were clearly experts in guiding each patient through personalized plans. Overall, Delaney Park Rehabilitation sets a high standard for care, professionalism, and environment. I’m grateful for their dedication and highly recommend them to anyone in need of rehabilitation services I have been to several skilled nursing facilities this one is excellent. Keep up the great service.
