My mom was there most of last Summer. The staff not only took great care of her, but they also included my Dad and I in a lot of the decisions - and dealt with me, my parent's only surviving daughter who knew nothing about any of this, was in charge of taking on the insurance company for appeals, attempting to get assistance through Medicaid, etc. They were patient, kind and really helped my Mom become strong enough to come home. She felt very comfortable there. Highly recommend!

I am in this facility regularly and it has not got that nursing home smell. The Staff is always friendly and seems to treat their patients with grace and dignity. Holly is Social Services Director, she will always do what is needed. Very friendly and happy. Oh yeah so is her cute little dog! I would recommend this facility to anyone in need.

Currituck was the only choice for our Mom after touring facilities in Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks. You immediately feel welcome upon entering the building, and the staff is very friendly. You see the patients out and about and staff talking, laughing, and doing activities with them. From Marygrace and the therapy team, Audrey in admissions, and nurses like Amanda, Melinda, and many others...you can truly tell these people care. I recommend calling Audrey for a tour if you are even considering it. Meet Marygrace while your there and you'll understand why we love these people so much. You won't find staff more willing to go out of their way for the people you love.

We were looking for a place to put grandfather after he unexpectedly went into the hospital and his health was quickly declining. Not sure where to begin, we reached out to the closest place to our home and we are so glad we did. Audry A. was the first person of contact and walked us through the entire process. Once my grandfather arrived he received the best care until the end. Thank you to all the wonderful people at Currituck Health and Rehab, from the onboarding staff, the nursing staff, doctors, cooks! We simply can’t thank you enough!
