I don’t even know where to start with this place. Some of the staff is friendly other then that this place is by far the worst nursing home I’ve ever seen. From the moment we got my grandma there we had issues and NONE were resolved. She was suppose to be there for therapy they rarly got her out of bed. There was NOTHING in her room besides a bed with NO Rails and a hospital table. She had a broken walker in her room and a wheelchair that was to big for her. We were told we had to supply everything else even a chair to get her out of bed. They stopped her meds that she was to be given to keep her strong. They never gave her meds that she had been on for years. She got a UTI and went untreated for ten days they said they were waiting on the results which I’ve never known a place to take that long for a UTI result. She had several bruises on her that we brought to their attention. We ended up talking her out and returning her to the hospital, we wheeled her to the hospital since they wouldn’t help transfer her. I could go on and on. Oh wait don’t let me forget they have not 3 not 2 but ONE nurse at night for all residents. I would do very good research before sending your loved ones here esp if you want them to ever get better. *several people we know in the medical field told us to get her out of here immediately

This nursing home should be shut down until the air conditioning is fixed. My father was admitted and his room was 80 degrees and his ac in his room was broken. They had portable air conditioners in the hallways but it wasn't good enough to keep the rooms cool. I don't understand why they would even accept him knowing the conditions of the place having air conditioning issues. We were sweating in that place. It isn't a safe place for elderly people with health issues. It's hot! So I signed him the heck out of there! And now we have to deal with avita not wanting to take him back because he was already transferred to this reject of a nursing home. So he's sitting in the hospital waiting room. This whole situation is dumb. Isn't his health what's important and not all these damn procedures and rules. I'm beyond annoyed with avita hospital and this nursing home. I'd give it zero stars if it was an option. The place is run down and dirty. Do not place your loved one in this facility if you care about them. And also my father's bed was damn near on the floor. He had to pee and he had no urinal so he had to pee in the trash can because no one was there to help him. Stupidest nursing home I've ever seen.

The STNA that was taking care of my son was rude and did not want to take my son in and out of bed, also she yelled at him because his nurse button fell on the floor and she had to pick it up. The facility is very outdated and dirty. My sons room had a hole in the wall the mice would go in and out of. After they put him on the bed pan they tossed the pan and poop would go on the walls and all over the toliet, they would not clean it up. Not all of the staff was horrible I believe the ladies name was Crystal and another one was Jo both of theose ladies seem to really care about the residents.

I will give them 5 stars. This was a tour. Stephanie was who gave me the tour she was very polite and friendly as well as informative was able to answer ally questions. Therefore I have made my decision to follow thru and end my search. The facility was very clean even though they are renovating there was no dust or anything that is awesome and I'm excited to make this a new home for my Mother. She also was very quick on returning phone calls and anything else I needed. Thank You Stephanie Sara Crawford
