My experience with this facility was extremely disappointing. My father has Parkinson’s disease and needed assistance getting out of bed several times a day to stay active and maintain his mobility. Instead, it felt like the staff preferred to heavily medicate him and keep him confined to bed rather than encourage movement and engagement. He was also receiving only about 15 minutes of therapy per day, which we did not feel was adequate for his needs. Overall, it seemed more focused on Medicare billing than on providing meaningful patient care.
