Concordia of Bridgeville Retirement Community was terrific. My Mom was in an independent apartment, but later moved to Assisted Living. Both buildings had wonderful caring professionals. My sister and I were thankful for the care our Mom received.

The facility staff are great but management is not. They FORCED my aunt on their hospice without letting my family decide which people its YOUR CHOICE! She died miserably they refuse proper medication for her and gave her Lasix for secretions! In case you dont know secretions arent fluid! 🤦♀️ Them forcing to use their horrible hospice is ILLEGAL they didnt even give them the chance to interview hospices that is completely illegal….. most people dont know that so i wanted to be sure to know!

So far so good it’s been one month my aunt is very happy living there . Gives me peace of mind knowing she’s being taken care of . She has made friends and really likes all the staff members.<br>Everyone seems very kind . Very happy I found this place .

Edited from 2 stars to 4 on 6/11/2025.**<br>After some initial concerns following the sale of Country Meadows to Concordia in 2024, we ended up being satisfied with the community after the initial adjustment period.<br>Although the housekeeping was not at the level once maintained by Country Meadows, the caring of the staff remained unchanged. Many of the old staff were held over, and the new faces had the same dedication to providing loving care that the old staff did. They were loving and supportive even as her needs increased and her life drew to a close. At the end of the day, I would choose to place my aunt in the care of the staff there again - and that really is the most critical thing when you are looking for a long-term care facility.

Very good Retirement Community. Excellent for independent living, managements take care of details and I had a great progress with my therapies and also for the daily fitness classes.<br>The recreational sections are greats. Nursing and meals are very good too.<br>I was for short term but my experience was fantastic!!!
