Months after the death of my husband’s sister, my sister-in-law, we remain very upset by the way she died, and Commonwealth’s horrible response in contacting us as she was taking a devastating downturn. She died in three days, from Commonweath’s first contact with us. And that first contact? Was that they needed to bring in a hospital bed for her. I visited, and she was already actively dying. Delirious, and cyanotic. Had not had a bite to eat in 7 days. Still the hospital bed came in, paid for by Medicare. Used 2 days.

Dereliction of duty. On the very day she died, they contacted us and asked how quickly we could move her things out? (Including her brand new hospital bed.) Because they had someone on the waiting list, for her room. Unbelievable.

Over the years, we've appreciated the kindness shown to her my many caregivers and team members. It is clear that they strive to make residents feel respected and engaged.
After 7 years I can say that CSL has provided a supportive home for my mother, and we are grateful for the care she continues to receive.

I can honestly say that this facility gives me so much peace of mind knowing the excellent care and support my family member is receiving. My family member is in the Memory Care unit and having a staff that understands the complexity of a person dealing with dementia or other memory disorders as well as the support the family receives is a true blessing. I was so thankful to finally be able to get my family member in this wonderful facility.
