Rooms have dirty carpets. Residents ' dirty linen and bedding in other residents Rooms. Other residents clothing in other residents closets. No grooming or regular baths. Had to hire hospice. No help with feeding residents who need the assistance. Feces and blood on carpet and bed. Nasty. Loved ones really need to really check under socks and blankets. Personal belongs disappear.

So glad to have found this facility and staff. The upper management changed many times over the year and a half my mother was here but the key people continued keeping on. And it showed. The love and appreciation my mom radiated when I visited was only possible b/c of their tireless work. The feeding, the cleaning, the exercise and activities such as she was capable of...all of it makes me certain this was the best place for the last years of here life. And a special shout out to Sonja and everyone who posts on Facebook. Loved the pictures!

I am so happy my parents are at Colonial Oaks at Arlington. The administrators have made my parents transition to living here as painless as possible. The facility is clean and homey and well maintained. There are many common areas for socialization indoors and out. The staff has been wonderful and go out of their way to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. They seem to truly care about their residents. And Robin, Gennifer and Stephanie are amazing! They work with me and for me to resolve any hiccups we may have in my parents medical needs as well as their ongoing Alzheimer's issues. Sonja, the activity director, gets everyone outside for fresh air and snacks and socialization almost daily. I trust the staff here with my loved ones. I feel so blessed to have found this place for my parents at this most vulnerable time of their lives.

My mom was here 5 years ago and my mother-in-law is here now because of the experience I had with my mom. These people don’t work here for the money. They are here to love on people in the most important way a person can love another. By serving them with love and knowing how important their role is in your loved ones life. I never thought once that my mom could have been in a better place. Except for heaven. I dare you to prove me wrong!
