Colonial Harbor has excellent services. My spouse and I have immensely enjoyed the live music several times a week, activities, and a variety of meals. Staff serves everyone meals at their tables.

Wonderful First Impression at Colonial Harbor<br><br>My dad is just one week into his stay at Colonial Harbor in Yorktown, and I felt compelled to share what a positive experience it has been so far. From my very first conversation with the staff, everyone has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful.<br><br>We opted for a studio apartment, and it’s very well suited for him. The grounds are immaculate, and I love how it’s tucked away from all the hustle and bustle.<br><br>I’d especially like to recognize Brandy, Molly, Elizabeth, Denise, Stacy, Jerome, James, and Olivia—each of them has gone out of their way to be kind, attentive, and supportive during this transition. It truly makes a difference for both residents and their families.<br><br>What also stood out to me is the community itself. The residents have been warm and welcoming, and many have already reached out to my dad, which has helped him feel comfortable right away.<br><br>Overall, I’m very impressed with our experience so far and feel confident that my dad is in a caring and supportive environment. I look forward to seeing him continue to settle in and he loves his new home & I love that for him!💛

The place is nice but management is rude.they have no respect for employees or residents..they don't take consideration of the residents or employees.. I was looking for a home for my aunt and she don't like being hot she cannot be in hot environments.she will keep her apartment cold she's a diabetic and suffer from dementia...I had a friend that work there and she has seizures and multiple scoliosis she is not allowed to be in hot areas her body will overheat and causes dizziness fatigue forgetfulness and more and have it in write..they didn't care .. residents and employees want to be heard and treated fair ..never be afraid to speak up or speak your mind cause nothing will change if u don't .. drys on the property don't work I seen it for my self ..lent everywhere dust in vent Im allergic to dust.. if they don't care about residents or employees health or safety then I would not recommend anyone family member to go there..I truly shows that if you can't take care of your residence and your employees what makes you think I'm going to trust you with my family member

I took an initial tour and fell in love. Brought my mom back for a tour and she fell in love and will be moving in soon. The staff is AMAZING, the facility is CLEAN & BEAUTIFUL and the residents are DELIGHTFUL. The dining experience was so nice as well. I have toured many senior independent facilities in the area and this one is by far one of the best!!!

This establishment really let my parents down. They were predatory in their approach and execution. Don’t be mistaken—This is a BUSINESS before a service. I originally posted about the horrible food and that was somehow taken down without my permission. The acting manager at the time even called my mother after they moved out to try to change my review. It still stands with one star. One star because people should be treated with dignity and RESPECT. Not served food with foreign non food items whether it was “clay” or “feces” we will never know, but there should have never been a single question about it.
