My mother was transported May 7 from Clifton springs hospital to Geneva rehab. She arrived without her shoes, eye drops and her $409 eyeglasses. My mom’s quality of life in last week of her life was terrible she couldn’t see. My husband and I both have called security as well as Rochester regional complaint line twice. No one ever returns our calls. Are you in the habit of stealing patient’s belongings? I need to be reimbursed for her eyeglasses. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone . Very poor that not one person can return our calls

I go here for my endocrinologist appointment and for dermatology I like Clifton springs hospital because the staff there are generally very friendly and very kind to me when I walk in. When I walk in with a staff member that helps me. They are very courteous to make sure that we are going to the right spot. If I am walking in on my own they go out of their way to help me totally get to the correct spot that I need. If I had any questions the hospital is very clean and I also like going to their draw lab there to get my blood work done. They're very nice people in there. Haven't had any much trouble getting in and out of there. Also, they have a cool little pond or River where ducks and birds swim and enjoy their life so you get to see them kind of close up. So that is a additive plus for happiness. Thank you for reading this. Strongly recommend giving this hospital a try and also the people that have other parts like endocrinology and dermatology as well, especially unique

Had an emergency with the baby and could've have been in better hands at the ER. This was a terrifying situation but the nurse on staff had us covered with empathy, professionalism and excellent demeanor. (Friday to Saturday evenings staff was outstanding!!)

Formal Complaint – Unprofessional and Concerning Conduct at Clifton Springs Emergency Department To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report an incident involving a front desk staff member called Jim at the Clifton Springs Emergency Department on Feb 20 2026 around 4.00 pm. During my interaction with this individual, I experienced behavior that was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking basic empathy. While asking me intake questions, he was audibly singing or making rhythmic vocal noises. This behavior continued even while he was speaking to me, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful—especially in an emergency department setting where patients are often in distress. More concerning, I observed that this behavior appeared selective. With white patients, his demeanor was noticeably different—calm, professional, and attentive. However, with patients of color, including myself, his tone and behavior were markedly less respectful. The contrast was evident and troubling. Healthcare environments require professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and equal treatment for all patients. The conduct I witnessed does not align with those standards and raises serious concerns about bias and discrimination. I request that this matter be formally reviewed. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and inform me of any steps taken to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this serious concern. Sincerely, Ahmed Soliman ED Patient on Feb/20/2026

I have had positive experiences at Clifton. The ER department is is great. Very kind and I have never had a long wait time. The staff at the wound care clinic is also great. The one issue I have is when the Main entrance where the circle drive is. When that entrance is closed there needs to be another entrance available besides the South Entrance. Many of the patients that use this entrance are patients for the wound care unit or elderly people coming to see their loved ones in the nursing home.
