Horrible conditions. Please do not bring your loved one to this facility.

This place is nothing like what is advertised on its website. There are virtually no amenities, and the conditions are unacceptable. The building is roach-infested, the plumbing and electrical systems are unreliable, and the air conditioning units frequently do not work properly. There are no screens on the A/C units, and the remote controls don’t even display the temperature setting.

There is only one trash disposal area located on one side of the building, making it extremely difficult for many residents—especially seniors—to dispose of their garbage. The building itself appears to be poorly designed, with doors that collide with each other when opened.

The washing machines are constantly out of order, the elevators break down at least twice a week, and even the handicap-accessible entrance door does not function properly.

This facility is far from what I would consider an assisted living community. If you care about your loved one’s comfort, safety, and quality of life, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place. RUN!!!!!

Christian Manor Apartments advertises itself as a “62 and older community offering a truly carefree lifestyle,” but from what I have personally witnessed, the reality behind closed doors is completely different. This feels like false advertising, and it breaks my heart.
I have been to this community several times, and each visit I take time to observe my surroundings. This is a small senior community where many residents are barely surviving—struggling to pay for medicine and food, afford health insurance, and live with dignity. I’ve watched family members come and go to visit parents, and sadly, I’ve also seen many seniors who appear completely alone, quietly fading away.
Some apartments have visible mold on the walls. Instead of fixing the problem properly, management has maintenance simply wipe it down and offer a humidifier, which does not solve a mold issue. In several buildings, the ceilings near the main entrances have large water stains and look like they could cave in at any moment. The smell throughout the property is often unbearable—like dirty mop water—because maintenance mops common areas with filthy water.
Trash disposal is another serious issue. Seniors are forced to walk nearly a block just to throw away garbage. Some residents are in wheelchairs, some can barely walk, yet they are still required to make the trip. While the community has been repainted, nothing meaningful has changed. The AC units are often not working, which is dangerous for elderly residents in Florida heat.
The most disturbing issue I’ve witnessed is the food pantry distribution, which is completely mismanaged and unfair. Seniors are forced to wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning just to get a number. Then they are told to return around noon and wait for management. During this time, certain individuals—who claim to be residents or volunteers—help themselves to the food.
I have personally watched:
One woman repeatedly fill her bag with cakes and desirable items while telling others not to touch anything.
A man who is supposed to maintain order take items and stash them in his own bag.
Another individual quietly make multiple trips upstairs, taking food each time.
All of this happens while seniors with numbers sit patiently and are rudely told to stay seated. By the time the assistant manager and property manager come out and begin calling numbers, all the good food is gone. These seniors—some as old as 95 years old, barely able to walk—are left with scraps after being awake since before sunrise.
There is no order, no accountability, and no compassion. People claim they are picking up food “for someone else” and try to skip the line. Management allows it. The system is broken, and the most vulnerable residents suffer because of it.
The advertisements claim this community offers “a range of care services and amenities,” but from what I’ve seen, they offer none. In emergencies, residents are told, “We can’t help you—call 911.” These seniors have nowhere to turn.
This community desperately needs new management—from the property manager down to staff and maintenance. These residents deserve cleanliness, fairness, safety, and respect. Someone needs to stand up for them.
I’m writing this review because what I’ve seen firsthand is unacceptable, and these seniors deserve better. It breaks my heart, please if you have a senior in your life this is not the place find some place else I know its affordable but before this community can get better they need to make a drastic change or its not going to get better. : ( Just my opinion I don't mean to offend anyone

When I lived there it was terrible. Bugs and leaky roofs. Management did not help. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
