The Chaplainwood Nursing Home staff along with Affinis Hospice staff provided diligent and compassionate care for my father during his stay until his passing. I visited dad there at all hours of the day and night. Dad was properly bathed, fed, and supervised. He lavished them with his compliments and they showed their appreciation with hugs, smiles, and laughter. As things became more difficult for dad in his final moments, I saw that every possible measure was provided to ensure his comfort. The staff always spent time talking to me about dad’s care and kept me fully informed. Even those not assigned to dad were willing to lend a hand. The few discrepancies that happened were dealt with before I could raise an eyebrow. The leadership here keeps the entire staff supported and in check. It felt like a loving strong family was caring for my dad. I even got to know a few of the other residents during my visits. They all seemed very content and were well cared for. I highly recommend Chaplainwood Nursing Home!
