About Bostick Nursing Center

Bostick Nursing Center is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Milledgeville, Georgia, licensed for 280 residents. It provides inpatient nursing care and ongoing residential services.

Family experiences at Bostick are notably mixed. Admissions staff, particularly Erica and Garnette, consistently receive praise for being welcoming and informative during the intake process. Several families report that direct care staff, including nursing and CNAs, treat residents with respect and maintain clean living spaces. One family wrote that they "didn't let these bad reviews turn us away" after visiting in person. However, other families describe serious operational challenges: management accountability gaps around maintenance and supply availability, uneven treatment across different units, and reported staffing turnover that affects continuity of care.

The facility holds a 2.8 out of 5 Google rating based on 38 reviews, reflecting a polarized feedback pattern in which families who have toured or placed loved ones tend to rate their experience highly, while others cite systemic management and resource concerns. Prospective families may find that a personal visit offers a clearer sense of day-to-day conditions than the aggregate rating alone.

This place has the poorest management I’ve ever seen. Their washer and dryer were broken and they blamed the aides working agency instead of being accountable. There is no way for staff to provide care without the supplies to do it. Having ignorant management that knows they don’t provide supplies and still blames staff when needs aren’t met reflects in their score. The building is also infested with roaches.

I called the facility to inquire about getting my mother placed and was greeted on the phone by Garnette, lovely person. Erica the admissions coordinator was so helpful and informative on the steps and process I need to take. She truly has a lovely spirit about herself. She offered me a tour of the facility but from first impression I am defienlty sold. I plan to update my review after I tour the facility next week.

Please go see the facility and meet the staff for yourself. My grandfather is the facility and my mom spoke highly of the staff, Ericka from admission so awesome to work with as far as getting your loved ones placed. Merci and the nursing staff are amazing. My grandfather has been there a couple of months and I'm so glad we didn't let these bad reviews turn us away. Building is always clean and doesn't have that nursing home smell. Ladies at front desk are awesome as well.

Majority of staff treat residents with kindness and respect. Some on upper level treat residents like prisoners. Cleaning crew are ALL nice people and do good work.CNAs are overworked but do good work and treat everyone with civility. Food service does mostly good work but there is a lack of communication between staff. There is a substantial turnover ratio that needs to be addressed.
