Walked in and no one asked name or business there. Receptionist walked in back to admissions person instead of calling extension. Said she was at lunch. They want cash...private pay only. Lobby was not inviting and not safe. Anyone can walk in without addressing self and business. Never asked who I was. Off my list. See state reviews and history of ownership. You will find most facilities have some issues but first impressions and documented past are most important when leaving your precious cargo.

My father was a patient at Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center for 3 months prior to his passing in the facility. He was admitted with multiple issues including a very tricky Afib heart condition and we knew that he may not make it back out. I truly believe that Sitoria the DON and the CNA team did the best that they could while handling my fathers care. They were all very knowledgeable in answering questions and also made sure that we got to speak to his doctors when we requested. Joel and Debbie in p/t were excellent in working with him. Tessa Mooney the Admissions Director was amazing and went above and beyond her job responsibilities numerous times by also checking in and making sure his needs were being met. She truly cares about the patients that she accepts and are being cared for in the facility. Jan Beaty in the front office kept me very informed on anything insurance related and was also readily available to answer any questions along those lines. Gary Cooke the facility Manager also came in a few times to see if everything was going well and to see if we had any concerns. It is a tough decision to trust the care of a loved one in a facility of this type. But, I have no regrets in entrusting the staff at Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center.

Take my rating as advice. Do NOT send your family members here. My family member passed away here. This was one of the most incompetent, filthy, smelled awful, roaches infestation was like nothing I've ever seen, uninhabitable "Care Centers" I've ever encountered. Food was awful, staff never responded if at all, no one ever answers the phone or returned calls and voice-mail, never saw a physician once the entire time my family member was there, the furniture, beds, equipment all falling apart, so old much of it was faulty. I could go on and on. The yard and parking lot was full of cat food bowls for the 10 plus stray cats out front sitting on my car. The nursing staff was poor, the case management spoke to me 3 times and I never received anything I requested. The office staff were rude in person and in emails. This facility was more interested in financial details than my family members care. This experience has scared myself and my family forever. This facility doesn't deserve a 1 rating. Beware!

Our families are our most valuable treasure, and we trust the nurses and facilities to take complete care of our loved ones. That’s a massive amount of trust. DON Satoria Coster put her heart and soul into the care and welfare for not only my grandmother but for all the residents and staff at Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab. I am so thankful that I found this facility and am extremely grateful for the care that my grandmother received 💕💕💕💕

During my tour at this facility the staff were very professional and friendly, I experienced excellent customer service upon entrance.The Director of Nursing Satoria Coster was very detailed with explaining processes implemented to ensure a better quality of life for the residents. It truly takes a team to lead a skilled facility, and I saw excellent team work at this facility.
