Cedar Crest of Silver Lake provides assisted living and memory care in Silver Lake, Minnesota. All residents receive private apartment suites equipped with a large, private handicapped accessible bathroom, an emergency call system, kitchenette, and mini refrigerator. The community provides comprehensive support for mobility and transferring needs, including two-person transfers and Hoyer lift transfers as needed. Residents remain in the same suite throughout their stay, even if care levels increase, and the community works with families and the county to facilitate financial assistance through Medicaid, Primewest, and other long-term insurance companies.

Cedar Crest's memory care neighborhood features a secure locked area designed to keep residents with dementia safe from wandering, and caregivers receive extensive and ongoing training in dementia care. The facility offers assistance with medical appointments and transportation, with licensed nurses and a resident coordinator maintaining close communication with families and performing health assessments every 90 days.

The community is located on the shore of Silver Lake, approximately 40 minutes west of the Metro Area, right off Highway 7. Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals and two snacks daily served in full-service dining rooms. Weekly activities include card club, crafts, bingo, pet interactions with service animals, and live music entertainment, along with small group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and personalities.
