My mother has been a resident for the past two years. I would say she is receiving outstanding care, and the staff has been very careful in meeting her needs since she’s in the early stages of dementia. I would like to also add the care that she receives from the head nurse Jasmine Pruitt, is exceptional without her dedication and attention to detail, I don’t know where we’d be.

My mom was looking for a senior living solution that felt like community, not an institution. She wanted to live independently in her own apartment and then transition to assisted living without a move. She was worried about making friends and fitting in.

I wanted a facility with amenities and a caring staff that would look after her physical and emotional wellbeing. I wanted it to be comfortable and welcoming. I wanted access to diverse caregivers and graduated care, including programs designed to help keep mom out of memory care.

Carillon at Belleview Station delivered on ALL of the above and exceeded our expectations. I’m grateful I convinced mom to make the move and only wish we’d done it sooner. She became a completely different person at Carillon and blossomed in the loving, caring environment they’ve created. As her health declined, I really came to appreciate how much the people and place meant to mom and how much the staff and residents cared for her too. Their love and generosity was humbling.

Through all of mom’s health challenges, Jasmine Pruitt and the Carillon care team treated her like a member of their own family. I guess Jasmine doesn’t sleep? She was in constant, round-the-clock contact whenever there was a crisis. Living thousands of miles away, having a Jasmine in your corner proved such a blessing. I don’t know how she does it!

Special thanks to the “Bridge to Belonging” team of Janette Brannan and Erin Ault too. Their program gave my mom a safe, creative place to rediscover her artistic side and cultivated a sense of purpose and belonging. She looked forward to participating every day.

My dad was a happy resident for 7 years. Outstanding staff. The nursing staff, particularly Jasmine (the Director of Nursing) went above and beyond to help him be comfortable after he fell. Excellent communication and I always knew what was going on and could reach out to the nursing staff easily. This helped my peace of mind.

My sister and I have been calling for over a week during normal business hours and not once have they answered the phone but after reading the reviews we are definitely not interested in my mother staying at a place where we know we can't even get a hold of anyone what if there was an emergency? thanks but absolutely no thank you!
Response to Response:
Um okay so you checked your phone records and saw a ton of missed phone calls? What were you looking for exactly? This is honestly the weirdest response I have EVER gotten! At least you are good at something!

My grandfather has lived in this facility's memory care program for over three years. Our family is deeply disappointed to learn that he is now being forced to leave because of incontinence, a common and expected part of later-stage dementia.

It’s difficult to understand why a memory care facility would be unwilling to care for residents as their disease progresses in predictable ways. This decision has caused significant stress for our family and unnecessary disruption for my grandfather, who deserves stability and compassion at this stage of his life.

Families considering this facility should ask detailed questions about what happens as a loved one’s dementia advances. They should also ask questions about additional costs for medical needs. We never expected that increasing care needs would result in our grandfather being asked to leave the place we believed would be his long-term home until the end. Extremely frustrating and very disappointed.
