I write this review with a great deal of gratitude to all the staff and residents of Canterfield of Bluffton. Recently, my 93 yr. old father spent a month at this facility for respite care due to a series of radiation treatments. Each and every Canterfield employee ... from the Marketing Director, Activities Director, concierge, shuttle driver, dining room servers, housekeeping and expert nursing staff, handled him with the utmost respect and care. He loved the activities and the company of the residents. An unexpected outcome with this interaction helped provide a temporary distraction from his ongoing treatments. Further, I am convinced that it was this caring environment that enabled dad to successfully complete all of his radiation treatments. Finishing all of his treatments was of paramount importance to our family, as it allows for the best medical outcome for dad's cancer challenge. In closing, I would highly recommend Canterfield of Bluffton, whether you are considering it for a new home or for respite care. Gratefully, Patti M
