My family member is receiving caring service at Cabarrus Health & Rehab center. They face the same challenges all long term care facilities do, but the leadership and the majority of the staff really care. I've noticed a lot of positive changes. Change takes time, but I feel confident the leadership is guiding the facility in the right direction. Administrator Brittney, and "Q" with customer service, address needs and concerns quickly and with cheer and grace.

Do not let your first impression scare you! Inside this building is a top notch team of Occupational and Physical Therapists that literally got me back on my feet in two weeks! Their care and encouragement pushed just enough. They will push you to do more! They willl keep you busy, but that is why you are there. Two weeks in the hospital robbed me of a lot of my strength. Two weeks of rehab gave a lot of it back to me, enough so that I felt comfortable going home and doing the things that I needed to do. I got most of my independence back, enough of it that I could feel confident regaining the rest on my own and I have using what they taught me. The Therapy Team will get you moving, it's up to you to do the work.

The staff here are focused not only on the physical care of the patients but the mental and emotional care, too. While they do have a wonderful and engaging activities department, I see employees from other departments encouraging and helping patients participate. Seems like an atmosphere where fun and LIVING are part of each day.

I’ve noticed a real positive change at Cabarrus. First impressions have significantly improved from the moment you walk in, the environment feels more welcoming and organized. Staff morale is clearly higher, and you can feel a positive energy throughout the building. A big part of that shift seems to come from the new administrator Brittney, who has brought fresh leadership, visibility, and supportive presence to the team. It’s encouraging to see staff engaged and residents treated with genuine care and respect.

Her fresh energy, professionalism, and commitment to positive culture change are exactly what the facility has needed. Brittany brings a caring, hands‑on approach that is felt not only by the residents, but also by families and staff. She is attentive, approachable, and truly invested in improving the environment and overall experience. It’s refreshing to see an administrator lead with both heart and accountability.
