My mom is a long term patient at Brunswick Health & Rehab and she has been there for about four years. I have been extremely satisfied with her care. I have had no bad experiences. The people that work there are friendly and caring. My mom has her favorites but I think they all take very good care of her. We recently celebrated her 100th birthday there!

Brunswick Health & Rehab was a wonderful experience for our family. The therapy team was amazing and truly went above and beyond with care and support. The food was also really good during my mom’s stay, which made a big difference. A special thank you to Lisa in dietary — she really took the time to learn and care about my moms dietary preferences, and that meant so much to us. It’s clear the staff genuinely care about their residents and treat them with kindness and respect. I would definitely recommend Brunswick Health & Rehab to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.

I wish I could give this review 10 stars! While visiting a very dear friend, I had questions regarding their care. I ran into Emily who appeared to be extremely busy. I asked if she could direct me to someone who might have time to talk to me. This sweet young lady let me know that she was more than happy to answer any questions I had. I literally stopped her in the hall when she was clearly in the middle of something. She gave me her undivided attention, answered my questions, and said if I had any more questions not to hesitate asking. She was very professional and so friendly. She truly cares about the people. Thank you Emily for being an amazing human!

The facility is new but that is about the best thing I can say about it. My family member didn't receive all of their medicine while they were there. We were told that they forgot to order it, it was pain medicine so I have to wonder if it was taken by someone who works there. They left in worse shape than they began, It was a short term rehab stay for PT and OT. If you can choose where your family member goes, do not choose here!

When retiring and moving to Sunset Beach, NC, our biggest worry and challenge was to find a suitable skilled nursing facility for Mom, who was really stretching the limits of Assisted Living, with nursing "visits". We found nothing nearby, and we even looked as far as Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. We were absolutely thrilled (and tremendously relieved!) to find BH&R. We stopped in (unanounced) when driving by, simply to get some information, but after meeting John in the lobby, he told us he had a few minutes and would be happy to give us a tour. We then contacted Jeanine, scheduled a meeting and started taking the steps to move Mom from out of state. They were so helpful from the very fist meeting - answering all questions in detail, making sure to address any and all concerns or potential fears, and helping to coordinate an absolutely seamless move-in, helping Mom acclimate to her new "home" immediately! We love how every member of the BH&R team works as and considers themselves as just that - "a team"! Mom has been here for 8 months now and we've never once heard any staff member say anything like, "That's not my job" or "Let me see if I can call someone to help you". The entire team works to make Mom as comfortable and happy as possible. We only live 20 minutes away, so we visit and spend a lot of time with Mom. However, if for any reason, we were not able to by there in person for any period of time, we are so reassured, knowing that Mom is being so well cared for. The level of communication we receive from the BH&R staff is second to none, and head and shoulders above any other we've experienced. They contact us immediately when they have any questions or concerns about Mom, as well as calling "to simply inform us" of something they may notice about Mom, which they want to make sure we're fully aware of and up to speed on.
