Our father was treated with the upmost care and respect a family could ever hope and pray for. From the kitchen employees, to the CNA, R.N, and doctors. I've only been here a few days but ALL the staff I've met are in the Marine Corps definition of the word OUTSTANDING. So is the facility. URRAH! UPDATE. Sep. 5, 2020. after approximately 185 days of lockdown we are coming off of lockdown a little bit at a time. The staff here have been superlatively WONDERFUL, OUTSTANDINGLY, CHEERFULLY, Super positive, while pulling double shifts and extra duties. Every once in a while, I jokingly ask them what drugs they are on. Every staff member from the head honcho down has worked extra duties and should get an award.

My grandfather stayed here for about a year, for physical rehab after surgery. He liked it there, and loved the staff.

My Father's friend spent many months at the McCandless Home. His care was the best, came from the respect they have for residents. My dad was happy to see him there well cared for.

My father was in this facility for a year and a half. I was so pleased when we found a very pleasant and helpful staff to care for him. He was happy there.
