Both my mother and father were at Brookstone for 3 years. They received excellent care and the staff was very caring. They called me (daughter) about any concerns and kept me informed. Both my parents are gone now. I’m so glad I chose Brookstone!

This center was clean, smelt good, was generally quiet (exception; smooth hallway background music), and Ms.Dana and her staff were very cheerful, courteous, and quite accommodating.

My aunt is in memory care. These people truly care. She is treated with respect and treated with love. The memory care staff go beyond their job description to make sure she feels safe and secure.

So I placed my dad here because it was closer. I have worked here before and witnessed less than great behavior but figured that was several years ago, I would be close by and maybe management had gotten a grip. Let me add that we have a special needs child as well and we both work full time jobs. Upon admission I informed them of how my father had been placed and his needs. I also discussed with Judy, Tony and Kelly that at any given moment his condition could decline. They all stated they were equipped to care for him and all would be well. Several times we would show up and his medication would be on his nightstand, in his pockets or in trash cans (after they said they supervised him taking it), his fingernails stay dirty, his body had a constant odor, his sheets and blankets soiled with feces. After telling staff many times they blamed my dad. At no point in time have they taken responsibility or apologized. Recently my dad began showing sexual behaviors. Their wack jib of a doctor placed him on estrogen which causes blood clots . I requested they try something different and they refuse. It landed him in the hospital with two pulmonary embolism. We almost lost him. Then today, I get a call that they are issuing a 30 day notice for him to find another facility. Many times while I am at work I received up to 10 calls back to back. I have lost 2 jobs due to this. Please keep your family away from here. Not to me tion the place just bellows bad odors

Please do not ever put your family here. Horrible office staff. I know for a fact they allow their residents to be verbally and mentally abused. I know this as a fact. They look at residents as numbers to say they have beds full, they do not look at them as human beings. I have seen med techs refuse to give patients their medicines that they were prescribed. This place should not be open. I am sure there are some employees who are there that care but until all of them do, especially the office staff its going to be horrible. Prayers for the residents.
