I truly wanted to give a 5-star review, but I believe in being honest about my experience. Honor (also known as Home Instead, or whatever name they are currently operating under) disappointed our family more times than I can count. We used their services for about a year to care for my 92-year-old grandfather. We relied on them to provide consistent care until I could arrive each day. Unfortunately, there were multiple occasions when no caregiver showed up at all and no one notified us. This left my grandfather, who was bedridden at the time, alone without assistance or proper care. Communication with the company was extremely difficult. Reaching someone for help or answers often felt impossible. That said, I do want to acknowledge that a few of the caregivers we worked with were truly wonderful and made a positive difference during a difficult time. What was especially disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up or support after my grandfather passed away. Not once did we hear from the company. The only person who showed up to his services was Danielle, and I am genuinely grateful to her for that kindness. Overall, while there were a few bright spots, our experience with this company was far from what we expected or needed.

I'm a family member of a current client. I can say that the contract is not being met. They don't show up some days. They don't clean like they should. They aren't bathing him and each one has their reasons either their too old to do it, they don't bathe men. One time a caregiver said she couldn't bathe him because he didn't have clothes laid out. They have issues with his pet. They were leaving dirty dishes. When you go in they will be sitting on the couch. They leave the wash cloth in the shower when hes done with a bath if they give him one. They have 4 hours to take care of him and they do the absolute bare minimum if that. Lots of excuses as to why they can't do things but it's all in his contract and they simply don't want to do their job. I can't say it's who ever is running it but they have some awful care givers who clearly dislike their job. I mean they don't even want to cook for him. Makes a cold bologna sandwich for breakfast I can promise you he didn't ask for that. You have to want to be a caring person for this type of job. It's very sad to see and I pray maybe his power of attorney can find an individual who can come in and actually care.

Home Instead has a flexible caregiver process that allows multiple caregivers to care for my mother. They have office staff available 24 hours a day that can assist and support you on short notice. The office staff and caregivers are loving and caring and can be depended on in your absence bringing you peace of mind.

Home Instead Senior Care is an amazing service to our community! They are a great resource for anyone looking for some help taking care of a loved one. They will work with you to choose the best plan to keep your loved one happy and safe! They are available 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, so you can count on them! I would recommend them to anyone who has an older family member or friend that needs some help with non-medical home care!

They care with sincerity and compassion. The staff and caregivers at Home Instead are mindful of each client's routine, belief's, and ways and incorporate care on an individual basis.. The staff continually strives to exceed the expectations of every client, and family member served. Home Instead is unique in that they work to match the right caregiver to each client. This company is passionate about the care of seniors. There is a Certified Senior Adviser on staff who provides great knowledge and insight. Home Instead provides hope to families who need that extra help in caring for their loved ones at home.
