If you are thinking your loved one needs a nursing home, this place is it. The staff is so good to my mother. They are always attentive, loving and kind. They treat her with respect and do all they can to help her keep her dignity. Mom is now in bed all the time and the staff takes great care to make sure she is turned regularly, clean, fed and comfortable. She has lived there for about a year and a half now and I can’t say enough good things about the special care she receives day after day. Also, a bonus is all private rooms with large windows (about 8 ft long) to look out and a big screen television in each room. The decor is very nice too. This is a first class facility and I’m so glad I know I have her somewhere that I can trust that she is well cared for.

My loved one with advanced dementia lived in memory care at this facility for about 2 years. They recently passed away. Brooken Hill was a God send after several bad experiences at other facilities in the Fort Smith area. Brooken Hill is a clean, beautiful, spacious, newer facility with state of the art medical equipment and private rooms. My loved one was comfortable and well cared for by the staff. I do not live locally, but was able to get updates anytime, 24 hours per day. I was included in care decisions, and was kept informed of all needs and medical situations. Several staff built positive relationships with my rather difficult loved one and made them feel at ease in an often confusing and scary situation as their health declined. I was able to visit any time, with or without notice, and consistently observed quality care and compassion. When my relative passed away, staff were there in the final moments and extremely accommodating and kind to us as the family.

I just want to say how much I appreciate Nurse Neisha. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is very responsible and kind. She located the misssing flowers that were sent to a patient that were in an activity room in a box instead of in the patients room. She found them, freshened them since they were stuck in a box from UPS and personally delivered them to the patient that I intended them for. I am so impressed. I called and spoke to her about the situation and she solved the problem . Thank you, Neisha.

My mother has been here since July 2025 and is very happy. BHHR has private rooms and the nursing staff is very attentive. Mom’s favorite thing is the courtyard.

Absolutely beautiful facility! A lot of hard working nurses/macs and CNAs. Also gotta brag on all our department heads and even housekeeping! Always fun activities going on daily.. even on the weekends!
