Terrible care and severe management issues - do not recommend<br><br>Our family had an incredibly upsetting experience during my mother’s two-year stay at Brookdale Meadow Springs. We faced severe, ongoing safety and management issues that left us deeply concerned for the residents' well-being.Chronic understaffing is a massive problem. Phone calls to the facility routinely go unanswered. On one horrific occasion, my mother was left sitting in her wheelchair for eight hours (from 7:30 PM until 3:30 AM) because no one answered my repeated calls to help her into bed. I have also personally witnessed staff members congregating in the break room while residents actively needed assistance.The sanitation is equally unacceptable. My mother had an active ant infestation in her room—including in her shower, sink, and bed—for five full weeks before management finally moved her. I reported this multiple times to no avail.When we escalated these critical issues to the facility director, the response was completely inadequate and nothing changed. To make matters worse, the facility appears to inflate its rating; we noticed several five-star reviews posted by their own staff, including the Business Manager and a nurse, which is incredibly misleading to families looking for honest care. Between the poor management, severe neglect, and low-quality meals that do not match their high fees, I strongly advise against placing your loved ones here.
