I've had the pleasure to work with Janese at this location, who is the director of Vibrant Living, which is the name of Brightview's enrichment-based programming designed to promote independence and well-being within Brightview's facilities. They do things like coordinate interactive entertainment for the residents. I've had the honor of working with Janese to bring in my interactive Drum Circle program to the residents, and I've gotta say, she is fantastic to work with! Brightview Senior Living is a great place, and Janese adds a ton of value to their operation. Thanks Janese and Vibrant Living!

Brightview of Hunt Valley was exactly what my father-in-law needed. The staff is caring, engaged, and professional. The availability of a unit was a tremendous stress relief for our family. The facility and the individual apartments are clean and well kept. The common areas are a welcome upgrade from most other facilities. We have only good experiences with the staff. I found the visit experience to be as pleasant as possible with the exception of parking garage cleaning/maintenance and an over abundance of dandelions along the detour route that are easy to overlook.

My recent experience with Brightview Senior Living raises serious concerns about intake, communication, and billing practices. My mother was admitted for care, but within approximately one week, there was a dramatic and unexpected escalation in the level of care they claimed she required, including a recommendation for one-on-one supervision. This raised immediate concerns about whether a meaningful cognitive and functional assessment had been conducted prior to admission. At the same time that Brightview indicated my mother could not safely remain in their facility under the original care plan, I encountered significant difficulty obtaining clear, timely, and written communication regarding next steps. Requests for discharge coordination were met with delays, evasiveness, or lack of response, which created unnecessary stress during an already urgent situation. After ultimately removing my mother, I was told that my account had been fully settled with a zero balance. Despite this, I later received additional billing for medications, which had not been disclosed to me at the time and contradicted prior assurances.

My mother's been in the memory care unit of Brightview Hunt Valley for a year and a half. I can't say enough about the expertise of the staff and quality of care that she's received. Even with such a cruel disease, she has thrived in the active lifestyle and communal environment provided at this facility. She feels safe and content, which is truly a gift.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I have had two parents who required memory care, so I have become familiar with memory care at four facilities. Brightview Hunt Valley was the best by far. The entire staff was incredibly kind and supportive to my Mom and our family. Lilian Campbell, the Director of the memory care unit, does an amazing job managing the unit and setting the expected quality of care with the staff. She leads by example by treating each resident with warmth and as a special individual. They seem to delight in the eccentricities of the residents, even when it makes their job harder. The facility design is perfect for residents needing memory care. The rooms are arranged in a ring, allowing the residents a nice loop for walking. It also has a beautifully planted outdoor courtyard that is nice for walking or just enjoying the weather. The are plenty of seating areas around the facility that are perfect for visiting with your loved one. I feel incredibly lucky that we found Brightview Hunt Valley.
