Bright Star, where is nurse Becca? After going thru at least a dozen nurses in the past, Becca has been the only nurse not to “stick” me twice and she worked around my travel schedule. I thought I had found a home with Bright Star but only if Becca is there. I am terrified of needles and I have been very stressed out after learning you are sending me someone else for my next infusion. I am very uncomfortable about my future infusions. You really need to do whatever you can to bring her back. For sure, once I find her…I will follow her wherever she goes.

Becca is the one! She just doesn’t do a good job….she does a great job and cares about her clients. She is one of a kind with a caring heart. There’s not too many people that work 7 days a week to make sure the clients get the care they need. I hope BrightStar realizes how lucky they are to have someone as wonderful as she is. Becca is the only person we will work with and she works hard to make it happen.

Horrible overall experience with inconsistent care. I had to call BrightStar multiple times to inquire why no aide had showed up that day. The care scheduler never was aware of their absence until I would call. Since this was always a 3:30pm -5:30pm scheduled time slot I find it hard to believe I was the first person to call in that day to inform them of a no-show. Always a new person each week (with the exception of one HHCA who was amazing, I only kept service with BrightStar for a year because of her, we left when she tendered her resignation). We requested 4 two hour visits each week & if was rare to get all 4 visits in the same week. I came to learn they do not do any training with their new hires (computer course doesn't replace hands on training). I am the primary care coordinator for a friend with dementia. Having a new person show up each week was very stressful & I had to demand repeatedly to be notified when their was a staffing change. Richard talks a good talk when I would call to complain but after a year of "good talk" & zero improvement I finally had enough. We have been surviving without home care & in many ways managing things without the unreliable, untrained staff provided by BrightStar is much less stressful. Of the aides who did show, very few of the aides actually did what was expected of them. BrightStar from the management level down is the worst example of home care I have ever experienced!

Becca has taken such great care of me throughout my whole experience with BrightStar. She is kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. She always makes herself available to me if I have any questions and goes above and beyond for her patients! I would recommend Becca and BrightStar to anyone needing homecare, as they are wonderful to deal with, and made my condition easier to endure. She has been there from start to finish and I appreciate her so very much! 🥰

My nurse Becca is one of the most personable, knowledgeable & kind nurses I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have dealth with a lot over the years! She is in my home for 5-6 hrs at a time and it truly makes what could be an uncomfortable time, very pleasant. I am very impressed with her mannerisms, compassion and knowledge, as well as a great IV starter. Thank you for sending her to me. I was nervous and did not know if I wanted to go through infusions. Now glad I did. You have a great nurse on your staff. Thanks, Victoria Martinez
