My mother who is 91 years old has been here for respite care for two weeks. I couldn't be more pleased with everything here, my mom is equally pleased here. The staff is wonderful, caring, and professional to my mom. I couldn't ask for a safer facility for my mom, my mom even said that if she ever has to go long term somewhere; she would want for it to be here at Brandon Woods in Dartmouth. The food is great, they have two options all the time and alternatives if the resident still wants something different. They play bingo, have musicians come in; have a hairdresser, watch a movie all together. My mom's laundry is washed each day, and the halls, rooms, and beds are cleaned each and everyday. I have asked for mom to be looked at twice, due to medical issues and they have had a doctor/and or nurse practitioner see her; who ever was in the facility that day. I couldn't be more pleased here. Her vitals are checked when I ask the nurse to check mom; I just can't ask for a better place for mom, they are all so pleasant and love their residents. it's like a neighborhood on the floor, they all care about each other. If you need a place for a family member, I would recommend Brandon Woods of Dartmouth, mom will be here next year for two weeks again, and I don't have to worry about her.
