My mom stayed at Bourne Manor for two weeks after surgery. The nurses, aides, and doctor were very attentive and caring throughout her recovery. We truly appreciated the compassion they showed her. Some of the residents were also very kind and helped her order coffee and meals, which meant a lot. The only downside was that the food could use some improvement, but overall we are grateful for the care she received.

Visiting this facility was deeply upsetting. The overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming, and the building itself had a strong, unpleasant odor that immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and care. When we arrived, the nurse attending my family member didn’t even acknowledge us… no hello, no eye contact. Later, when I tried to leave unopened candy and cookies at the front desk for staff or residents, I had to say “excuse me” MULTIPLE times before the nurse even looked at me. She then simply nodded and walked away without saying a word, leaving me to place the items on the counter myself. This is a nursing home. Families come here already carrying grief and worry. Basic kindness, eye contact, and simple greetings should be the standard, not an exception. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here at all. After reading other reviews, it’s clear these issues are not isolated. Management appears aware of the environment here but unwilling to address it, which is incredibly concerning for a facility entrusted with the care of elders.

I highly recommend Bourne Manor they have best and friendliest staff. The nurses are absolutely attentive and knowledgeable and take great care of patients. The first floor staffing are just incredible anything you need or questions you may have they are very quick to respond and help. This is the second time my loved one has been in care at Bourne Manor and she could not be happier with the CNA, Dr's , Nurses and even the food she raves about being excellent.

I’m extremely disappointed with this facility. From the moment you walk in, the smell is unbearable — it hits you like a filthy public restroom. There’s no friendly greeting, no sense of care, just a cold and uncomfortable atmosphere. My father came in with a walker and somehow it vanished. No one has answers, no one seems to care. The level of treatment here is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for the patients. Stay away at all costs. I will gladly remove this review if my father’s walker is returned and he’s treated with the dignity he deserves.

Bourne Manor Skilled Nursing Facility provided exceptional care for my father. From the moment we interacted with the admissions staff, we experienced outstanding customer service. They were responsive, informative, and made the entire process seamless, which was a relief after struggling to get responses from other rehabs. The nursing and physical therapy teams at Bourne Manor are truly excellent and compassionate. They ensured that my father was comfortable and had everything he needed to maintain his independence. The care he received was top-notch, and it was evident that the staff genuinely cared about his well-being. He raved about the nurses and staff in unit 1. I interacted with the lead nurse on several occasions and felt like I got good updates and they took ample time to explain the medical issues and next steps. I highly recommend Bourne Manor to anyone in need of skilled nursing care. Their dedication to patient care and their professional, compassionate approach make all the difference.
