In having to make hard choices for aging relatives, Bickford is a place I can trust to care for my loved one! I've had a great experience, particularly with Jameeah, who is warm, attentive, timely, and an advocate who cares not just the client/resident, but us as family members. We so appreciate you Jameeah and we appreciate Bickford!

Jameeah, is very caring and helpful. I can tell she really has a passion for taking care of my grandma along with the others in the establishment. Shes proactive she doesnt wait to be asked for something. If theres a need she goes above and beyond and takes care of it before even being asked. I appreciate Jameeah !

She treats everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect and always makes sure their needs are a priority. My grandmother lived at Bickford of Gurnee and our family’s experience was deeply troubling. On multiple occasions, she was left sitting in urine and feces for extended periods. My mother documented this with photos and raised it directly with staff and management, and nothing changed. The facility was consistently understaffed, and for long stretches there was no activity director, so residents like my grandmother were left with nothing to do, day after day.<br><br>We were paying over $250/day for care that my mother ended up providing herself. She was there almost daily, doing tasks that should have been handled by paid staff. For a facility at this price point, the lack of basic dignity in care was unacceptable.<br><br>My grandmother deserved so much better in her final years. I would not recommend Bickford of Gurnee to any family looking for a safe, attentive place for a loved one.

I can't even begin to tell you how much we love Bickford. My mom was so scared to go to an assisted living home. She has been there for about 1 month now and absolutely loves it. Savanna and all of the staff are so loving and kind. I could go on an on but please believe me when I say they make the transition so easy.
