Good enough care, but be ready for them to at-a-whim raise the monthly cost (in the middle of a year), making an already expensive room unmanageable. Every time I turn around they're finding some reason to add another $1000 or more to her bill. Not to mention the constant 10% increase each and every year.<br><br>For example they wanted over $1000 to remind my mom to take her vitamins. That's about $33/day for a five-second walk in. They won't even put her vitamins in a daily dispenser, we have to do that. Wish I could make that kind of money!<br><br>Now they're telling me out of the blue that they want another $1200 per month to inform her about the activities. I'm not making this up!<br><br>I'm seriously thinking of moving my mom to another provider.

My grandmother is so happy here at Shrewsbury Crossing! we thought her transition out of her home would be a challenge, but the staff did a fantastic job of making this community her home.

Our Dad who is over 90 moved into the assisted living section after breaking a hip, along with other challenges which had impacted his overall outlook while living somewhat isolated at home. After the first month at Benchmark Shrewsbury we saw a remarkable turn-around in his appearance and attitude. The spark is back and he is fully engaged in the daily social activities offered, including daily exercise sessions. He enjoys the food, and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Beth and Sue were great to work with getting him set up and moved in on an expedited schedule. Our family feels good knowing he is being looked after by professionals with help available 24/7. A gamechanger for us as a family.
