My Dad Aram M. Moved to Putnam Farm Assisted Living from Florida. He wanted to be closer to family and to be more social with Seniors his age. We viewed a number of facilities and he chose one he thought he loved until we visited at Putnam. From the day we were given a tour and he saw the apartments, he said "this is where I want to live."<br><br>Dad appreciated the New England style of the place with beautiful common living rooms, a lovely library with a fireplace and<br>A dining room with lots of windows where everyone ate together.<br><br>The food was tasty and varied. Fresh fruit available every day. For Christmas Dad and I<br>Had a full leg of lamb dinner prepared by the chef that was restaurant quality!! Putnam decorated so beautifully that it reminded us of how my Mom would make holidays so special.<br><br>Both dad and I loved his sunny apartment with his kitchenette. It was the perfect size.<br>At 87 Dad was done with cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and having to remember to take his medication. The RCA's at Putnam, took care of all of these things for him. I can honestly say that he was well cared for and loved by the staff. Having a pendant to press if he needed help really made a difference. Staff came quickly and attended to his needs.<br><br>Putnam provides lots of trips and activities planned by the residents. Dad only went to a few things like the special Veterans Day program where those who served were honored. Others went to activities daily. It just wasn't what he wanted to do.<br><br>But he was happy until his health started failing. Although he is currently in a nursing home we would have chosen Putnam Farm<br>Again for him.<br><br>No place will ever be perfect but Putnam Farm tries its best to be.<br><br>Thank you to the staff for being so wonderful to Dad!!

The ENTIRE staff are amazing, kind, joyful, professional. In visiting my mom regularly I have always felt welcome! Kudos to Putnam Farm Danvers!!!

My mother lived at Putnam Farm for almost three years. She loved it. The staff was very attentive to all of her needs, and to our needs, as well. They took very good care of her. Putnam Farms is an elegant and cheerful facility which is beautifully decorated and very clean. We felt very fortunate to have found this wonderful place for her.

The staff at Putnam Farm are outstanding. Kind, compassionate, and organized in caring for elders, they provide a safe and nurturing environment. After my father died, my mother had a difficult period facing a lot of anxiety and grief. They took care of her when I could not be there, and gave her a sense of community and connection that she needed to transition to a new phase in her life. I cannot thank the staff and leadership at Putnam enough for helping my mother, and in turn our whole family, in this challenging time.

My inlaws are currently living at Putnam Farm in assisted living, and we have had a lot of problems getting help for them. In particular, we are finding it quite dificult to track down the care manager to get answers and assistance. Some specifics... When we decided my mother-in-law needed medication management for her to take the stronger pain medicine she needed, it took about 2 weeks to get that started. During that 2 weeks, we needed to keep her on tylenol alone, and she was still in pain. We have witnessed aides able to ignore obvious sanitary issues on a few occasions. We are also disappointed in the lack of progress and personal attention to address a pressing nutritional need my mother-in-law currently has.<br><br>I am giving one extra star for the quick response to our request for food delivery, the wonderful aide who so gently and carefully has helped my father-in-law back into his wheelchair from the floor on a few occasions, and the lovely aide who so carefully gives my mother-in-law her showers.
