I am so grateful to BAYADA, their caregivers and ALL staff members, for the excellent care they provided for my husband this past year. My husband was in a Nursing Facility with Parkinson's and Cancer. We needed extra help due to specific issues from the Parkinson's. Bayada provided this help with compassionate and knowledgeable caregivers. These caregivers were such a valuable part of his care that they became like family. Furthermore, the staff was also a valuable assistance to me. There was always someone available for me to talk with 24 hours a day. And believe me, there were several times when I needed to talk with someone in the middle of the night. It's hard to express in words how much peace of mind this gave me and just how valuable this access to communication was. It was HUGE!!! There is so much stress when a loved one is ill and the assistance that Bayada provided lowered the intensity of that stress tremendously. The compassion and integrity of EVERYONE (caregivers and staff) is extraordinary! I highly recommend their services.

I can certainly affirm that our helpers from Bayada are both competent and caring, but that is something I would expect from any good provider. What I think sets the Bayada caregivers apart from others is that they understand the “art’ of caregiving: establishing a “rapport”with the patient that gains the their trust, confidence and willing cooperation. When I see that patient/caregiver rapport in action I am comfortable leaving my wife with her Bayada caregiver and taking a break for myself…so that is also caring for ME.
