When my health took a serious downturn, I was too unwell to even visit assisted living facilities myself my family moved me into Bay Square in Yarmouth on my behalf. Looking back now, I couldn't be happier they chose Bay Square for me.<br><br>I arrived here confined to a wheelchair, unsure of what my future would look like. Thanks to the dedicated staff and the assistance of the fantastic physical therapy program here, I am walking now only with the assistance of a cane - progress I honestly didn't expect to make.<br><br>What has meant just as much to me is how I'm treated day to day. The staff show every resident dignity and respect and compassion, not just competent care. And the friendships I've built here have been such an unexpected gift - my fellow residents are like friends and I look forward to seeing them each day. I also look forward to mealtime, the chef makes fantastic dishes and his staff serve it with a smile.<br><br>I can give Bay Square nothing but a glowing recommendation. If you're searching for a place for a loved one or yourself, consider this community. It has truly become my home.

Staff is very professional from top to bottom, everyone at Bay Square cares deeply about their residents and their family’s. Jessica, Brianna and the crew are fantastic.<br>AND… the food is very good!

The staff and personnel at Bay Square at Yarmouth go above and beyond for their residents. I see it, and I hear it all the time from the residents themselves and their family and friends. Bay Square is a friendly and upbeat, yet calming, environment to experience. I highly recommend for anyone in need of assisted living and/or mind and memory care!

Our family loves Bay Square where my 100 yo mother lives. We searched for several months for the right place for her. Some places I automatically rejected as they felt too institutional. But there were some places that I kept going back to as they were beautiful and well run. But somehow I just couldn’t sign the contract.<br>My husband said “are you just wanting her to continue living with us? “ I said no as mom had told me “I’m going to live til 110 and you are just going to be too old to take care of me.”<br>So one day I was sitting in a waiting room for mom to have an X-ray . We had a long wait so I decided to research a few more places. I made an appointment for the next day at Bay Square.<br>Samantha welcomed me wonderfully and took me to a studio on the first floor.<br>Sunny, airy, a space outside her window for bird feeders. I said “can you hold this room a day?” I brought my husband first and then my mom. This was it!!! There was no question!!!!<br>Samantha and Jim who are the administrators are fabulous and approachable . Paula runs a wonderful activities program. The kitchen is so nice and serves great food. This place is really a home and we are all family. My mother has a full life here. We feel soooo lucky.
