I would give them 0 stars if I could. What was once a great place for seniors with kindness and compassion has gone downhill over the last year. The new facility manager Jen and head nurse Kim could care less about the residents. Once you run out of money and go on Medicaid they kick you out like trash. They already kicked out several residents on Medicaid. They tried to evict my mom twice. The State of NJ Ombudsman had to get involved. They were told by the state that their actions are illegal. All they care about is the money! They mistreated my mom almost on a daily basis. When we questioned them we received no response. Bruises on our mom's body which they never explained. Every communication was ignored. They went as far as locking my mom in her room after lunch time to never take her out of bed until the next day. She missed several dinners eating with everyone else in the dining hall because they forced her to eat alone in her room. One day she tried getting out of bed because she was hungry and fell. Our mom is dependent on a wheelchair to get around. My sister found her laying on the floor yelling for help. Their social budget has been slashed in half and now their food budget too! Less money towards the residents and more money in the pockets of the management team! Oh yeah and they are the most expensive senior living facility in South Jersey! We pulled both my Mom and Aunt out of there and into another facility. Best move and decision for our family! I must add that most of the aids that work there are amazing even though they are always understaffed. The people running the facility are horrible humans and should not be working with seniors. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONES IN THEIR CARE!!!
