I got to stay at avista nursing and rehab for the past week and a half. This facility is the best. The staff is kind caring and always aware of each individuals needs. They all were on top of my special diet and always were sharing with me my sugar readings and always making sure I got all my meds on time. I would love to live with them. The food is amazing.i live it here.❤️😊

The nursing staff was great and attended to all my uncle’s needs during his stay. The PT girls were wonderful and worked closely with him every day. They focused on building his strength, improving his balance, and helping him regain the confidence he needed to get up and walk again. They were patient, encouraging, and truly cared about his progress. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to answer questions or help when needed. We are grateful for the care and support he received during his recovery. I have no issue with recommending Avista to anyone in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care.

Avista (formerly known as heartland healthcare) didn’t just earn its nickname “heartless” but owns it every day. The “I just checked on the patient 15 minutes ago” is usually where we find rigor set in. No need for a dnr here, the staff will take care of that.
