About Aviata At West Palm Beach

Aviata at West Palm Beach is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a licensed capacity of 120 residents.

Family experiences at this facility are starkly divided. Some families report deeply problematic care, including failure to provide ordered medical equipment (bariatric beds, respiratory devices), delayed or missed medications, dismissal of symptoms, and resistance to emergency transfers, with one family describing the experience as "a house of horrors." Others praise the staff as "incredible" and "attentive," highlighting specific team members like Ayasha and Aixa for thorough admission preparation and genuine concern for residents and families. Even positive reviews occasionally note that communication between staff members could improve.

Aviata holds a 4.1 out of 5 star rating across 84 Google reviews. The wide gap between 1-star and 5-star accounts suggests consistency issues in care delivery and family communication that prospective residents and their families should carefully explore during any evaluation visit.

The staff is very nice and friendly.. However they do need to work on their communication skills among each other. Mr Aj is the best very welcoming, informative, kind and good person overall. A big thank you to all the staff and personnels who made the care for my mother possible.

I can not say enough about how amazing the staff is here. I have heard bad things about rehabilitation places and was very concerned about sending my father anywhere for therapy but after speaking to Ayasha and meeting the team I couldn’t wait for him to get out Wellington regional and start his recovery. Ayasha took the time to make sure he had everything in place for his arrival and he has been so happy and comfortable here he is getting the best therapy for his health and will return home soon with lifted spirits thank you Aviata

I can go all night talking about how great this place is. My mom been there since november and since day one the staff been nothing but incredible welcome and attentive with my mom. The therapist team is great and they actually care about the family’s opinion and concerns. Admission manager Aixa and the director of the facility go above and beyond for their patients and the family. CNA, drs, and nurses are very friendly and make us feel like part of a big family. Thank you Aviata WPB team for everything you guys do.

⚠️ Patient Experience Review: October 25–26 Stay at [Aviata at West Palm Beach I’m writing this review to share my deeply disappointing and distressing experience at this rehab facility following my hospital transfer on October 25th. I arrived with clear medical needs: a bariatric bed and a CPAP/BiPAP machine were supposed to be set up in advance. Neither was provided. The bed was standard, not bariatric, and the CPAP machine was not plugged in or ready for use. That same night, I was denied dinner. When I raised the issue, the nurse insisted I had already eaten—an outright falsehood. I felt unheard, dismissed, and unsafe. The following day, breakfast was inadequate and my request for an alternative was ignored. Lunch was pasta with red sauce, which I cannot eat due to acid reflux. Again, I was promised a replacement meal that never came. I ended up eating a muffin and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich—hardly appropriate for someone recovering from hospitalization. Throughout my stay, I was repeatedly asked what could be done to make me stay. I made it clear: I wanted to leave. The facility was unprepared, unresponsive, and unwilling to meet my basic medical and dietary needs. The supervisor claimed she had personally set up the bed and CPAP machine, which was demonstrably false. When I challenged her, she deflected and refused to take responsibility. Attempts to escalate were met with stonewalling. I was told no one was in charge, and that I’d have to wait until the next day to speak to someone. I called the facility from my cell phone and warned that if no one came to assist me, I would call the police. Eventually, a head nurse arrived but offered no solution. I was told to “do what I had to do.” I called paramedics and explained that I was being held against my will. They transported me back to the hospital, where I again had to advocate for myself to avoid being sent back to the same facility. After explaining the situation multiple times, I was finally sent home. This facility treated me like a number, not a person. They failed to provide the equipment I needed, neglected basic care, and repeatedly lied to me and my loved ones. Their priority was clearly profit—not patient well-being. I strongly urge anyone considering this rehab center to look elsewhere. The manager, Asia, was particularly dishonest and manipulative throughout the ordeal. If I could I would give them no stars, this place is dingy. The picture that are on the website do not match the place it must be another facility that they own. If you are being told by a hospital or a medical professional to go there that it is a good facility I would research it first. 0/10 in my book. Hopefully in the future they don't just see people as cash cows. E.V.

this place is TERRIBLE. i have a loved one who was at this facility and did not receive proper care. staff made it extremely difficult when she needed to go to the ER for a higher level of care. her antibiotics weren’t given on time, her pain and symptoms were dismissed, and her medical decline was downplayed. it was a house of horrors. she eventually had to call 911 herself because the facility refused to arrange a transfer. she was not taken seriously, and it was a horrible experience overall. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone i care about, or even my worst enemy
