Don’t move your family member here. 1-it’s cheeper to have an in home caregiver paying $20 an hour 2-The staff smells like perfume and marijuana (I don’t want someone under the influence taking care of my family member) 3- all you hear is staff loudly cussing, complaining about management, coworkers, or residents ( if you don’t like where you work then leave. I don’t want my family member to feel like a burden) 4- they let the resident sit in pee and poop diapers( rashes and neglect) 5- laundry never gets done (residents wear each others clothes) 6- the activity director looks miserable to be there 7- state is constantly in the building( I wonder how much gets covered up) This place is just sad and the online pictures aren’t even how the facility looks. I’ve seen many communities and this is one of the worse. Do yourself a favor and talk to staff not management and listen to your surroundings it will tell you a lot more then management will they just wanna take you money.

Angela, Vanessa and their staff have one of the hardest jobs in the world and it’s comforting to know they are caring for my sister. They go above and beyond allowing her to call when she needs to reach out, printing emails and pictures. Not being able to visit often is difficult enough, knowing I can reach out to staff and they will respond means a lot during this difficult time.

My mom spent 3 1/2 years at Autumn Leaves. When she first moved in, she was still walking and they kept her engaged with various activities. Although we experienced a few issues, we visited every day and were able to stay on top of them. Over time, however, she started to have more frequent falls and eventually ended up in a geri-chair. On November 16th, when we went to visit her for lunch as usual, we noticed that the air cushion she was sitting on was both wet and had a strong odor. We asked the staff to help pick her up so we could remove the cushion, and to our horror, we discovered it was full of maggots. This is absolutely unacceptable! The staff explained that it was the night shift's responsibility to clean the chairs, but it was clear no one was overseeing this to ensure it was being done properly. Unfortunately, Autumn Leaves has gone through multiple staff changes, and the quality of care has deteriorated. While there are still a few compassionate workers, the overall care is lacking. After much consideration, we decided to remove my mom from there and bring her home for her final days, where she could be surrounded by family in a more caring and comfortable environment. If you are considering leaving a loved one here, I strongly advise staying vigilant and regularly checking on their well-being. After my mom had unexplained bruises, we decided to install a camera in her room to keep a closer eye on things. Do not trust this facility to take care of your loved on! They do not care. They try to say the right things but leadership fails to make sure the workers follow through. Poorly ran and owner could careless. We brought mom home. We had to because she was sitting on maggots because of this she declined rapidly and passed away within two weeks.

Autumn Leaves has the most welcoming and attentive staff, from the time you walk in the door you instantly feel at home. The residents are happy and very active. Darlene, the sales director, is very knowledgeable & helpful on finding what best fits your needs. Angela, the Exectuve Director, is always out and about in the community ensuring her residents have the utmost care and enjoying life. I would highly recommend Autumn Leaves for a loved one. 🌻
