Our family had a wonderful experience during my mom’s stay. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was surrounded by such caring and dedicated staff. A special thank you to Nurse Monique, who was not only incredibly caring but always brought laughter and comfort with her funny personality. Katie from laundry was so kind and helpful, always making sure things were taken care of. And Kate, Director of Hospitality, was amazing from the very first day of admission all the way through discharge—always helpful, supportive, and making the process so much easier for our family. We are truly grateful for the care, compassion, and kindness shown throughout her stay. Certainly will recommend to any other family.

Any place that deals with clients has it flaws.Clients who struggle being forced to work a double without notice are a few items all have to deal with. In these places there is often unsung heros who provide that needed ray of sunshine who always have a sunny disposition ready to help when and where possible. One department that tries to stand in the gap is Hospitality. I am not sure exactly what they do they help. In Autumn Lakes this department is run by Kate. Due to hippa i am not allowed to know her last name. She is very bright and almost always has a smile on her lips. She was the first person to smile at me when I first got here. Kate gave me some crochet hooks and a thing of yarn. She spent over an hour teaching me how to crochet. I had mixed feelings about this. On one hand I was thrilled to get the attention but at the same time I was concerned that I was taking her time away from other clients. I voiced this to her and she said that it was her job. Another example would be the ear pods she gave me. I have over the ear radio. For whatever reason it will not connect to Bluetooth on my phone. I asked Kate for help. She did everything I did. Then two days ago Kate handed Bluetooth ear. Buds and said that now I can connect to my phone. I asked if I owed her anything she said no. To sum up Kate is a big blessing. I would like to thank her for doing her job and I would like to think that we have a friendship outside of bounds we are currently under. She is a very bright spot in an otherwise dark gray situation.

My mother in law has spent some time in this facility and Kate from Hospitality has been so delightful and really makes sure my mother in law is comfortable and greatly taken care of. She stopped by with this adorable cart full of refreshments and snacks and I have to say this truly sets you all apart from other facilities that we have experienced. Well done!
