This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. My aunt was admitted here from the hospital with a trachea. The goal was to put her through rehab to get her off the trachea so she could continue chemotherapy. She was admitted on a Friday. We visited her that Saturday. Her room was very tight, trash was on the floor, her bathroom smelled like sewer which can’t be healthy for ppl with breathing conditions, her call light was on the floor and staff left a towel under her trachea to keep the mucus from dripping on her neck. Very disappointed, we called for an aide to come help, instead she just placed a clean towel with the soiled one without reattaching the trachea. Before we left we stopped at the nurses station to ask a few questions about when certain staff would be in (rehab and DON) and we were greeted by the NURSE SUPERVISOR asking us “what do we want” she gave no eye contact instead she continued to do whatever was on her phone because that was much more important. Finally, Tuesday we spoke with the DON, social worker and therapist in rehab who all made us feel like regardless of the first encounter we had our aunt would be ok. Moving forward Thursday, 2 days after that conversation with those people our aunt was sent out to the hospital because she had an infection due to her trachea not being cleaned. This place needs to be shut down and I’m attaching real photos of the faculties current condition, for the one online are not up to date. I highly recommend you remove your family from this place. They are only concerned when they are about to be reported or something bad happens. Everyone was more interested in her wellbeing when we came to collect her items. She will not be back. The state will be contacted.
