Unfortunately, my mother’s experience in this memory care unit was extremely disappointing and concerning. I expected her to be in an environment where her privacy, dignity, safety, and personal care would be respected, but that was not our experience. ESPECIALLY for the monthly price.<br><br>Other residents were repeatedly allowed to walk into my mother’s room, which was a serious invasion of her privacy. Even more concerning, residents were entering and using her personal bathroom. On multiple occasions, the toilet seat was left dirty or residents missed the toilet entirely, leaving my mother to deal with the aftermath. This was unacceptable, particularly for someone in memory care who relies on staff to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.<br><br>I was also extremely upset to discover that my mother had been placed on medication without my knowledge or notification for months. Given my involvement in her care, I believe communication with family regarding significant medication changes should have been much better.

Do not give them any money until your loved one has been assessed - currently waiting to get my money back! It’s been 14 days. Finally received call from Executive Director Anita saying that money will be refunded within 4 days. This is a bad business practice. No money should be paid until your loved one is assessed !<br>Also if you are looking for a facility that advertises memory care as your loved one declines they ask that you move them because this is a lower acuity community and can not provide the services or care that your love one needs.
